1. How
long have you lived in Hazelwood? (Family) |
|
About two months. |
|
2. Where did you live before
here? (Family) |
|
We owned a home in Lake Oswego. |
|
3. Interesting information about
your children and/or pets. |
|
Emma (age 12) and Elizabeth "Biz" (age 8) both attend Horizon Christian
School in Tualatin. Reagan "The Reaganator" (age 2) stays home and harasses
Mom all day.
We have two cats named Domino and Tigger who have recently, against their
will, become outdoor kitties. |
|
4. What's the best part of living in Hazelwood?
(Adults & children) |
|
David: The homes are nice, people are friendly, love the greenspace in our
backyard. I love that it feels like a neighborhood, not a subdivision.
Barbara: I really enjoy the small size of the neighborhood and it's close to
e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g !
Emma: There are lots of fun places to explore and lots of babysitting
opportunities. I like all of the neighborhood community events.
Biz: There's lots of friendly people.
Reagan: I can ride my trike on the sidewalk! |
|
5. What's your favorite thing about living in
Wilsonville? Oregon? (Adults & children) |
|
David: It still has a small-town feel.
Barbara: Cold Stone, baby, Cold Stone!
Emma: I like that the library is so close.
Biz: It's close to my friends.
Reagan: I like all the fountains and the parks. |
|
6. Where did you grow up?
(Adults) |
|
David: Amongst the Amish and two traffic lights (one was a blinker!) in New
Wilmington, Pennsylvania. PS. No, I'm not Amish but we have some very nice
furniture.
Barbara: I'm originially a surfer chic from Orange County, California. (Go
ahead! Ask me about my pink mowawk and purple surf board.) I moved to Lake
Oswego, Oregon with my parents in 1984. |
|
7. What is your current occupation? (& past
if interesting) (Adults) |
|
David: I work out of the home starting up a company named i58:10 Media. I
create radio, video and web productions to help raise awareness and funding
for non-profit organizations.
Barbara: I worked for many years doing payroll and human resources for a
large organization but just recently retired to be a (gulp!) stay-at-home
mommy. |
|
8. What are your interests & hobbies? (Adults & children) |
|
David: I like to golf, work in my woodshop, do crossword puzzles, and spend
time with my family.
Barbara: I LOVE scrap booking but just can't find the time anymore. I
enjoy reading, cooking, gossiping and running but... again... no time!
Emma: I love children! Does anybody need a babysitter??? I enjoy reading,
competitive swimming and hanging out with friends.
Biz: I like to play with animals, my Nintendo DS, my (new!) trampoline and
my baby sister.
Reagan: I like books, books and more books! I like puzzles and Elmo and my
trike. Most recently I enjoy making animal noises and crawling around the
house and licking people like a cat. (Mom and Dad are worried!) |
|
9. What was your
best vacation?
(Family) |
|
We spent a week in Sunriver last summer and really enjoyed the time
together. We biked, we rafted, we went horseback riding and ate lots of
Captain Crunch. |
|
10. What is your favorite restaurant? (Family) |
|
David: Genoa's on Belmont.
Barbara: McCormick's - David proposed to me there with a honkin' big ring.

Biz: Village Inn
Reagan: Costco. Mmmmmmm! Can you say "Churro"? |
|
11. Do you have any famous, historical or
notorious ancestors? |

and green eyes to prove it. |
|
12 Any other interesting information or things
you would like us to know? |
|
Family: We are very active
with Grace Chapel in Wilsonville. A GREAT church!
David: My work has allowed me to travel to many interesting places -
Africa, Central America and the Caribbean. But the trip home is always my
favorite.
Barbara: I'm a new stay-at-home mom and in danger of losing my
ever-loving-mind. Call me! I'd love to meet any other moms in the
neighborhood.
Emma: I would LOVE any babysitting opportunities - my place or yours! I'd
like to meet any other kids in the neighborhood who are my age.
Biz: I like to swim. See you at the pool!
