1.  How long have you lived in Hazelwood?

We have lived in Hazelwood for twelve years. (We moved into Hazelwood July, 2006.)

2. Where did you live before here?

Winfield, Illinois - a Chicago suburb.

3. Interesting information about your children and/or pets.

John has a daughter, Katie who lives with her husband Paul Worsham in Renton, WA. Katie started a pet care service business a year ago and is really enjoying working for herself instead of a large company.

4.  What's the best part of living in Hazelwood?

Good neighborhood, good activities, and great neighbors.

5.  What's your favorite thing about living in Wilsonville?  Oregon?

Great location - easy shopping, easy travel to the Coast, the Mountains, and other Northwest locations, quiet little town.

6.  Where did you grow up?

John - Fowler, Indiana
Mary - Chicago, Illinois

7.   What is your current occupation? (& past if interesting)

John - Retired. Teaching college part-time. Former Director of Marketing, Norpac Foods, Inc.
Mary - Part-time merchandising.

8.  What are your interests & hobbies?

John - Travel, Music (Classical to Current), Golf, Skiing, Snowshoeing, Walking, Computer Games, Bike Riding, Reading, Teaching, Mentoring.

9.  What was your best vacation?

They all were great. Our honeymoon was a cruise in the Mediterranean Sea from Monte Carlo to the French and Italian Riviera (including Corsica Island and Elba Island) on a sail ship.

10.  What is your favorite restaurant?

Chicago Chop House - Chicago
Ringside - Portland

11.  Do you have any famous, historical or notorious ancestors?

None of whom we are aware.

12  Any other interesting information or things you would like us to know?

(From the editor)  John and Mary left this space blank, so I will use it to add that they are very good neighbors and extremely nice people. They are always willing to lend a helping a hand at any neighborhood project or function . John is also a member of the Hazelwood Homeowner's board and the editor of our newsletter "The Hazelwood Headlines"
